They still sell the card. Anyone interested in buying one can do so ONLY at Evans Prairie CC. The card CAN be used at all of their restaurant locations. The reason for selling them at one location is so the staff can explain the details of the program and answer any questions that the buyer might have about the program. This is an effort by management to dispel rumors and control misinformation about the benefits of the program.

Good point. It's not different at all. Consumers paying a fee for a membership that saves them money on goods and services is very common. I don't know why this loyalty card bothers so many people that don't intend on buying it in the first place. And I would venture to guess that many of those same people have paid to join clubs like AAA Auto Club, Costco, Sams, BJ'S Warehouse, Disney discount vacations, Diners Club, etc. Same thing...

Thanks for the update. I asked at Bonifay 2 weeks ago. That's where my info came from.

Your welcome. We just bought the card a few days ago.

joldnol 05-13-2015 06:53 PM

with after golf drinks it paid for itself in a month

pmbinnj 05-13-2015 06:53 PM

We inquired about the card at Evans Prairie about a month ago and we were told that it was no longer available. Martinis for $3 is a pretty good deal :)

because when you call it a "loyalty" card, it should be a free reward for your continuing patronage, as most places do. This is not a loyalty card, this is a buy a discount card...my problem is not the discount program but calling it a loyalty card when it is not, it is a paid for discount program, like prime.

Chatbrat 05-14-2015 06:34 AM

Too bad , you can't get a discount on premium martini's & premium beers, guess I'll have to stick with the Cane, Hemmingway & Arnold Palmer--Nancy Lopez is good but too long of a drive ager a few drinks

I'm soooooooo glad I'll become a permanent resident of TV later this year!

Things to worry complain about here in Central NY
Jihadi Johnny and his dull pen knife are coming to the US
Iran is getting a nuclear bomb
Putin is following Hitler's 1938 game plan
Our country is 18 trillion in debt
Medicare and SS are going broke
Every little police incident results in an angry mob
But at least almost(but not all) of the snow has melted

Things to worry about at TV(from recent posts)
A discount card is called a loyalty card
Charter buses pick up people at a Town Square parking lot
Cart paths should be striped in the middle, the sides, or both
The fairway lies aren't fluffy enough for a 30+ handicap golfer (like it would really make a difference to them)
Rude people save seats at the Squares
Someone has an 8" gnome in their garden
My neighbor drinks a case of beer in his garage

What a burden will be lifted for me come October
Seriously, folks---let's enjoy what we have here in TV

A nice synopsis – although the dog feces problem was noticeably absent.
Welcome to Lake Deaton - it doesn't get better than this!

What about sex in the square, sex on the utility box, sex in Katie Belle’s? The Villages is about romance not worry.

golfing eagles 05-14-2015 09:19 AM

my bad.

Left out dog poop, barking dogs, references to sex or the supposed STD problems, drivers in roundabouts, paying for bridge and tree repairs, bad food at restaurants and non-TV cars and golf carts using "our" roads----more First-world problems in my opinion
