It was the only car I kept for that long, because I was

I only traded it in because I wanted a newer model.
And everything was functioning on it fine when it

I have a 2018 Cheverolet Equinox that has absoultely nothing wrong with it, but I really want the Soul. I will also be trying to have it detailed.

I would rate my Kia way higher than my Jeep...

Here’s a suggestion…there are so many Kia Soul’s in TV it might be wise to ask actual owners your questions about dealers, salespersons,
and their experience with their Kia’s.
When you ask here, it seems your likely to get a number of
opinions thrown in without
any personal experience to back them up.
Have a great day, and good luck with
whatever you do!

The Consumer Reports April annual auto issue rates the Kia Soul at 51 points out of 100 and it is not a recommended car.

The larger Kia Sportage is rated at 72 out of 100 points and is a recommended car by CR.

Just traded in my 2016 KIA Soul after 5 years of loving it. Got tired of talking to local Kia and other dealers around here and bought a 2022 Toyota corolla cross from Clearwater Auto Nation. Got more for my trade than anyone around here would give me and new car is even better than Soul was. Auto Nation does not do add-on for car shortage situation like dealers in TV area, including Leesburg and Ocala.
Corolla Cross is much more solid a vehicle and has all the safety features we were looking for. And it is a TOYOTA.

Someone suggested asking Soul owners how they like their car. I did for several years before purchasing my first Soul and then my second one. No one person complained about their Soul. Not one. I also "heard" from some that Kia Souls have problems. Name a car that hasn't had problems. Since I have a 150K warranty, which I will never ever be able to achieve, I guess if I have problems Kia will fix them. For the price, I figure it's pretty good. Plenty of head room, which I have never gotten from another car. Great gas millage. Small footprint for a car, but plenty of room inside.

BUT, the OP was about WHERE to purchase one, not a review on poster's opinion of the car.

I totally agree about Tim. Bought a Soul and a Sportage from him. Great service and follow ups.

I bought a new 2020 Kia Soul EX with premium options two years ago at Bill Bryan Kia Leesburg. I had first gone to Jenkins Kia in Ocala will never go back to Jenkins. I only have 7K miles on it but not one thing has gone wrong. I would buy from Bill Bryan again.

I second this choice. Tim Lile from Bill Bryan Kia, Leesburg

That is true of most things. The Kia is made in Korea. Frankly when they first entered the country they were terrible. Seems they have made effort and improved the product at least what they sell in the US.
Truth, I try to buy American. What is more American than Chevy. My past two cars have been Chevy. Made in the US? One was made in Canada. The one now own is made in the US. To be marked made in the US 80% of it needs to be made in the US.
The transmission on my car is made in Mexico. Is made in Mexico a sign of quality-not according to my views. Aside, I have a Chevy Malibu, it is 11 years old and it has been great.

Any car will need service.

I would consider who services THE BRAND you consider. I saw a Volvo the other day and realized you don't see many. They are good cars. I expect finding a place to service one and finding parts is an issue.

I believe that Volvo is now a Chinese owned company, not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's not your father's Volvo.

If you check your mail for awhile, Bill Bryan will eventually send you a key for a new one for free. I got four keys so far, but didn't have time to pick up the cars. Also, when you get there, he will bend over backwards for you.
