I love children and I was a good teacher. Loved every day going to school. I am now glad that I live in an over 55 community where I don't have to worry about other peoples children.
Because I do...and I would. I am just geared that way. I want to separate myself from things that cause worry. I am not responsible for anything that happens to other peoples children here. But I can't keep myself from caring and worrying. I read posts on this thread from dare devil guys and protective moms. We are who we are. |

They Come By It Honestly
Grandparents strapping grandkids on the back of their carts. Grandparents driving carts and pulling grandkids on skateboards. Grandparents with little biddy grandkids in their laps swerving back and forth in order to entertain their grandkids. Someone wrote "You can't fix stupid." Well that's why, its passed on from generation to generation. Fifty years from now these grandkids will be living in TV and they will say to their grandkids. When I was a little boy my grnad daddy let me ride on the back of his cart, pulled me on my skateboard and let me drive his cart blindfolded . So fun. so hop on the back and............................................... .... In short they come by their stupid honestly |

- Your clubs are inanimate objects without hands that can undo the strap buckle; - Your clubs cannot wiggle and squirm themselves out of the strap unless the buckle loosens because it was not pressed shut enough. - Rear seat belts are made for being lap restraints that cross the body in the appropriate place. Bag belts were not made for bodies, and depending on the height of the child and the grip of the buckle of the strap, the kids can wiggle or accidentally slide out of them, into traffic......not onto golf course turf by the way. - Rear seat belts have a hook and clasp closure and not the belt gripper like the bag strap buckle is. The seatbelt hook and clasp is more reliable to stay closed. - Most importantly: What if the golf cart with kids strapped on the back gets rear-ended by a car/truck?? We don't care if golf clubs get smashed and broken, but we do care if it's a little kid's legs, abdomen, spine, chest or head. |

The argument against rear facing seats does give me pause. No bumper . No other material of any kind between the rear facing riders and an approaching vehicle. I own a rear facing 4 seater and am becomming increasingly more worried about the safety of the passengers.
