Question Landscape Edging

We recently moved within the Villages and had a thick metal landscaping ring anchored by metal stakes that we removed (kept falling over it.) We put it out to the trash today and it was not picked up. How do I dispose of it please? Is this something I bring to that recycling event that they hold occasionally or is there some place that I can bring it? Thanks.

Call your trash hauler and ask. I can't tell you who to call because you didn't say where you are located and there are multiple trash haulers.

Now my guess ... they probably didn't take it because of its length - I'm assuming it's 8-10 ft. long. Just bend it in half or thirds.

Hi - thank you. We are between 466 and 466A. You are correct in the 8-10 ft length situation. HOWEVER, to bend this puppy into anything manageable (1/2 or 1/3rds) I'd have to be related to The Hulk. Very thick. Not bendable. I will call them. Thank you again.

You probably need a bolt cutter or maybe a sledgehammer.

If it was not your day for recycling I would try putting it out again with recycling. If that doesn't work find someone with an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel and that will cut through it fairly quickly.
