Default Learning center lawsuit

Law suit against the Learning center update.
Today's Daily Sun said the law firm representing the hearing impaired got 1.3 million and the plaintiff's $212,500.
Where did the money come from? Amenity fees or what?

I'm sure it came from that money tree we all contribute to each month and at the end of the year in taxes.

It makes me furious that this happened. I think the law protecting disabled isn't supposed to work like this. I am angry at those who brought suit. THAT is my opinion.

Agreed, should be mad at the scumbag lawyer/lawyers. I'm hearing impaired, think I'll file suit against the law firm for discrimination?

Wasn't this lawsuit, in part, because of the arrogance of TV's in responDing to the law and the legal rights of the hearing impaired population?

The article says "... the federal lawsuit against The Villages Charter School ..."
Since the Sumter County School Board granted approval for The Villages to develop a charter school, can one assume that the Sumter County School District is paying the settlement?
