Crap, rules already and we haven't even gotten the club off the ground.

I'm pretty ambidextrous; learned how to do a lot of stuff LH before the right shoulder surgery. You're right, too many rules already; think I'll continue being a lone wolf and just play as a single, or will play with a chosen few. 😉

Gosh. Makes me kinda glad I was a Protestant until I was twenty. Those girls were MEAN.

BUT most folks with a Catholiic education did alright for themselves.

George H. W. Bush Republican 1989–1993 Left-handed 4

Bill Clinton Democratic 1993–2001 Left-handed 8

Barack Obama Democratic 2009–present Left-handed 6

18 over the last 26 years [future 20 over 26 years]

"Our calculation of the chances of four out of five US presidents being left-handed was slightly awry in the article below. We gave the probability as 0.00009, given that one in 10 of the population is left-handed. That is the probability of any particular sequence of one right-handed and four left-handed presidents. The odds of that occurring in any order would be 0.00045" 9 out of 20,000

The ole boy and I are both left handed for everything except golf....Told by pro that it would be to our advantage to play right handed, STILL WAITING!
This is true for the ole boy and I have my moments of brilliance!

side note: If the nun in grade school had her way, I would be right-handed....Had my knuckles wacked a couple of times but stuck to my guns!

Did you know that Phil Mickleson's father was a teaching pro and Phil is right handed in everything but golf? His father would taught him the swing face to face.

I am left handed and always thought that I needed a left handed golf instructor. However, it is an advantage to be face to face, as if looking in a mirror.

The golf problem or any sport lesson, as you well know is that when you are reading instructions lefties read the words "right knee" and have to change it to "left knee". There ought to be an app that "translates" any kind of instruction from right handed to left handed. How hard would that be to change the text from right to left at the push of a button?
[it probably exists, i never looked--i'm using youtube for lessons now]

That's how I taught my wife to play; I play left and she play's right and she just mirrored me.

Yeah, I've marked up my golf book to make those changes. I also use a lot of youtube videos. I think a factor working against a global substitution in the word processor is that someone would still have to proofread the updated text to catch the few goofs.
