Default Let It Snow!

When I woke up at 6 this morning it was snowing.....and it didn't stop until 5 this afternoon. Got about 5 inches and I really wish I had a dvd of the snowfall today. There are snowfalls and then there are snowfalls that are really beautiful...this was one of them. Sometimes small flakes and sometimes big. Sometimes a light snowfall and sometimes heavy (very heavy). The kind that leaves a coating of white on every branch of every tree! Simply gorgeous if you don't have to be out in it or drive in it....great to look at thru a window! Next year we decided to be in our home in The Villages after Thanksgiving. Now we need to find a very good dvd of a wonderful snowfall to bring down with us!

We have lots of snow! They've plowed our drive twice and you can't even tell it. They are now saying we are going to get 12 inches but they keep raising the total. Oh how I wish we were at our home in TV.

We had three and a half feet in a snowfall, of snow last year, in CT. I am now in TV, and loving the weather, in that I can go out in my shorts and sandals in December. I have made it clear, I don't like snow anymore. It may be beautiful, if you don't have to shovel it, or drive in it, but other than that, it's very useless to me and just, a not so fond memory.

Life is good in TV.

Sounds like you are happy Joe. Look forward to seeing you in February.

It has been non-stop snow for the past 24 hours here in Swimdawg North. I am not one to stay home....so earlier Lexi and I started out for a jaunt. We got to the corner and I turned around. I'm getting too old to deal with this white stuff.

I just shoveled a pathway for "the little angel". Do not eat yellow snow!

It'll all be cleared up tomorrow. Western New York is a well-oiled machine when it comes to snow removal. They can't keep up with it today. It is cold out there!

Snow??? It is snowing to bat the band up here in VT. Our minister sent us a note warning everyone about the weather. As I trudged down the driveway to get the Sunday paper, I was asking myself "...how can we own a home in TV and still be here?"
dumb...da...dumb...da (think Dragnet while you hum that)

Ashtabula... knew it well. When I was a kid, our family had a home in Madison, OH, when we lived in Pittsburgh. I've never experienced such bitter cold as the winds and lake effect snow coming off Lake Erie in February. Not even at Lake Michigan.

Glad to hear it is snowing in Ohio and other northern places. Just keep it there and I will continue to enjoy the warmth of Florida and the total enjoyment of being in The Villages as a full time resident.

I do enjoy the short jaunts outside The Villages but it is always to a warm climate and NOT to snow.

Y'all bundle up and don't catch the chilblains.

I know my family in old Chillicothe town talked about their share of snowfall and our friends back in Massachusetts thanked us again for leaving them our snowblower when we made our way here last Ja nuary.

We are both born, raised and still have a home in Geneva. Very happy we came down here the first of October.
