It is nearly impossible to keep a 6 foot distance when a waiter/waitress is taking your order in a restaurant. I was not planning on wearing a mask once seated in a restaurant. The wait staff come and go while the patrons are eating and drinking. I just can not imagine having to place my mask on and off every time the wait staff comes to the table. You can't wear a mask while you're eating, but they can (and should) ensure that you are seated at least 6 feet away from the nearest table. And I feel it would be the polite and concerned/caring thing to do, to enter the restaurant with your mask on - and leave it on until you are seated. And then put it back on when you get up to leave, and leave it on until you're out of the restaurant.

That's actually how it is at Nardo's, they ask that you wear a mask unless you're seated.
