Is it a coincidence or..

I've noticed that after Thanksgiving, you don't see hardly any Cattle Egrets amongst the Village Buffalo herds. Maybe they are only attracted to Buffalo Livers. Or maybe Egrets taste like turkey. :dontknow: :dontknow:

We've gone to GlenView Country Club for Thanksgiving two years in a row now and found it to be a traditional dinner and good. You do need to make reservations. Now I do need to add it is not as good as if we had cooked at home and had all the leftovers!

It appears lots of folks prefer to dine out on Thanksgiving. Not me. Can't beat a home made meal that day! (And turkey is one of my best meals.)

Just heard yesterday that Mallory was opening Nov. 1st.....

Won't be able to get Liver though, what with the shortage and all ::
Probably due to the lower census of the Buffalo Herd, For some reason their numbers seem to go down around Thanksgiving time....Lots of Sand Hill Cranes and Egrets though and its not all bad if you use a smaller fork...::

Just called my neighbor about Mallory opening on Nov, 1st and he confirmed it....It could be just rumor though as he is a librarian in Sumpter co...

He also added that if you call for a reservation , try to request table no. 17 or 18 as they now have an Ocean View.............. ;D

TGF, Thanks! Will call them. I called the Village People ;D, and they had no idea when it would open.
Too bad about the liver shortage! ;D
