Yes, we’ve been on two LSV’s and brought our nine pound mini schnauzer both times. We brought a small collapsible crate to make sure she was safe while we were out. She loved the golf car rides and small, fenced back yard. Be sure and tell your agent that you plan on brining your dog.

Could be, but IMHO a week is not nearly enough time to decide if this place is for you and where you want to buy.

At 5% commission to real estate agent not to mention moving expenses to a second house can be rather expensive.

We did this in May of 2018 and stayed in the Alden Bungalows too. The accommodations were great.

We did it 3x. I would ask the villages sales office. Nine or ten years ago it was low cost, low pressure, we got the use of a golf cart and bicycles, we got a meal deal and a movie.
I don't recall, type of home. I expect you can tell them what you are interested in. Different stokes for different folks. An island in the kitchen. Some I would not buy a home without an island in the kitchen. MY OPINION it is in the way if you do any serious cooking.
Moving is expensive, packing is a pain. My view about most things, if you don't take the time to do it right you will need to have the time to do it again.

People tend to focus on only one issue. Prices of housing is rising most everywhere. So if you have another home that you plan on selling, that too is going up.

Complaints? There are people who will complain about anything. This place is well planned and well run.

Delaying purchasing? I had it all planned. We bought in the villages and then listed our home we were living in for sale. I figured 6 months to sell. It sold in two or three days-as cash deal, full ask price. I had been getting rid of stuff for over a year, garage sales, ebay,
trips to the scrap yard and in the home stretch give to neighbors and trips to the dump.

I packed the last of it with the crew loading the moving truck.

I love the villages! I am so glad we moved here. But does anyone think that a house right next to Brownwood is in any way indicative of the lifestyle you will have if you buy a new house from the developer? New homes from the developer are quite a ways away from Brownwood with, in my opinion, a completely different environment as far as restaurants, shopping, entertainement, etc. I do realize that most people are not stupid and can see where the new homes are being developed, but it seems that the "lifestyle experience" could be quite misleading compared to where you would buy from the developer. If it is meant just as equally for the sale of existing homes, then my point is probably not valid.

Our first lifestyle was in “07” was in a PV @ Mallory, The new builds were south of there. 2nd lifestyle CYV in LSL in 2010, new build were in Pennacamp. 2012 lifestyle still in LSL, and new build was in Fernandina.

Lifestyle stay has never been where the new homes are. In a few years Alden will sell and the next Lifestyle homes will probably be near Eastport
