Default Inventory of homes

Yes, the supply of all homes for sale is at an all time low. Last week there were about 76 homes for sale, new or preowned. The Villages is an incredible place to
live and people are finding that out from friends, family and the incredible marketing The Villages does. If you see something that fits your criteria, you should make a strong offer and be ready to buy.
I’ve heard of some very disappointing home buying attempts lately. Be totally prepared if you’re in the market for a home here.

I can tell you this about Florida homes. We live four miles from the villages in another senior community which is 50% cheaper and we don't golf so it doesn't matter. Our friend is leaving due to health reasons and he got five offers in the first two days this thing is all. For 10 years we would normally have 80 or so homes for sale month to month, and right now there are exactly five homes for sale on the multiple listings and maybe two by owner. PS I live in a beautiful community old Pennbroke Fairways . Just four miles from The villages

No they are full until October and it is based on date requested to fill the openings. Supply and demand. Thousands are requesting to come weekly.

My brother just booked for October and had no problems. Not sure if this is new, but I previously thought the minimum nights was three, but he was told it is now 4 nights. If that is new, then that would also reduce the inventory of homes for the LSV.

There are hundreds on zillow.
96 homes or 200 of everything is about a week to two week supply. The Villages Sales office are selling 200-300 new per month and another 200 resale. The MLS has very few available also (in The Villages).

It's been 4 days since before the Covid.

It's a life style visit. Speaking of tours, have the trolley bus tours restarted?

Call the agent you used and see if he can pull some strings to get an earlier appointment for a stay.

We never did a lifestyle visit, we have friends in The Villages and we stayed with them. Why do a lifestyle when you can get first hand experience. We hooked up with their sales rep and everything was great.

We came for lifestyle package for 4 days. It is the best way to visit here. I know it has changed, but I don't know what you get in the package now. We got 4 tickets for the movie theatre, free dinner each night, free coffee, tea, bagels, and donuts every morning, free golf, Village money ( which was stopped because someone made conterfeit money) and if you didn't have the time to use all the play money, you could just use it when you come back. We had our home built in 2001. Part of the lifestyle package was a welcome basket when we closed. That basket on our kitchen counter had 4 more tickets to the movies, 2 beer mugs to freeze, 2 coffee mugs, and 2 drinking glasses all with their logo on it. I can't remember everything else. We were talking about the package at a swimming pool one day and one of the girls was listening and said her husband and her just drove in, went to sales office and decided to build. We didn't get anything, not even the welcome basket. She called her sales person and was told that it was part of the package if you buy. Boy, was she mad. Oh, I almost forgot. We got our money back the for our stay in a designer home the second time we came back and decided to build. I've never gone on a vacation that was that inexpensive. I still love it here!

Inexpensive? It cost you a house!
