It's pretty obvious this was done on purpose. You can see the tire marks above the curb and the flower beds were also damaged. My guess this person had a vendetta or found out some bad news and took it out this way.

That's all these Villagers who probably should not be driving but still are. I'm always amazed to see some people get out of a car who can't hardly walk, yet they are driving a 3,000 lb plus vehicle.
