I pick it up when it finds its way onto my lawn. Big deal. I have owned corner lots and never gave dog poop I picked up from it a second thought. That is the last thing in the world to raise my blood pressure over.

We know most are respectful pet owners and take responsibility to clean up their little darlings mess. So what can be a solution to those who just don’t care? It’s bad to walk in stuff unknowingly and get in the car or walk in the house It can make you want to borrow a friends St. Bernard and mess their yard up a little. Lol or nicely ask the owner to put a diaper on the sweetheart pup. What do you suggest? Thank you to the people who do take care of your pets waste.

Bottom line some are privileged, at least in their own minds. One of our 2 dogs had a tendency to really make a mess. One time he went on one our neighbor's custom painted driveway. After I took the dogs home I went back to the driveway with a cleaner and paper towels and cleaned the mess. I guess it's called giving a damn.

NO! You do not put poop at postal stations or red centers. You take it home with you. I have heard some dog owners bag it like this & pick up on way home but this is NOT ok

Ahhh it was meant to be a joke....

That sounds like a lot of crap.

Seriously! I wouldn’t touch it either! That’s why I don’t have a dog. I’m not here to pick up after other people’s dogs.

Unreal! That’s the problem with this world in general. People have no respect! I “thought” moving to a “55 & older” community people would be more “responsible “ guess some never grow up! I wouldn’t pick it up either like one person responded. I’m not here to pick up after other people. And that is one reason I don’t have a dog, did that enough growing up. Sorry you had to see that! Not pleasant!

SOME dog owners just don't respect other people's property. ALL dogs should have their DNA taken, maybe then they care were their
dog leaves their deposit. Where is the Community Standards Police.

Great idea. Some people need to be shamed to act responsibly.

so this 1 time i had some business in Sumter Landing, & we had the Pug who just went for her heartworm test. right before going into the rec center, she felt the need to relieve herself DIRECTLY on the sidewalk (!). i had no choice, but to bag up the offending material & left it in the road by the curb. (trash cans were very close to the entrance & quite full.)
after leaving i collected the bag & disposed of it in another trash away from the center. IT HAPPENS on occasion. what we do with it is another matter:doggie:
