There will be a lot of houses with only one way in and out.

To check your mail and get to River Bend rec center, you will have to turn left on Corbin Trail, which could be a very busy road.

I think the other areas of Linden and Monarch Grove will be better.

We are in the process of building our home in the Village of Linden (lot 9). I LOVE the location! I am within a stone's throw from the Riverbend Rec Center, dog park, beach volley ball, postal station, the much needed walking paths and so much more. Originally hubby and I had a deposit on a lot in Marsh Bend but as soon as the lots in Linden were released we switched lots and started the design and build process immediately. For us the decision was easy. Wherever you decide to build your home I'm sure you'll know as soon as you see it. Good luck!

The Isle is a nice little section, very unique and close to everything in Riverbend and the soon to be built shopping and recreation center in Marsh Landing. There are also going to be medical buildings just east of the turnpike that will be close to you. The traffic on Corbin will not be a problem, I thought Fenney Way was going to be a busy street and it is not, easy to get out and turn left any time of the day. If you like it up there go for it.

Having one in and one way out is an advantage....we live in one of the few areas that enjoy that design. We know who lives in our area, and when we see a strange vehicle coming through or parked we approach the vehicle and ask if we can help. Not having high traffic driving around our neighborhood keeps us safer and a true neighborhood environment. When leaving, left turns especially during the season does take some patience but we all get out sooner or later

Really? How many left turns would you be making in a day. I would never let, or for that matter even think about left turns, be a deciding factor on buying a house.

OP, if you like it go for it...………..

I guess we all have different things that are important to us.

When we were looking at houses three years ago, we decided we definitely would not buy a house that would require us to make a left turn onto Pinellas or Hillsborough, which are very busy 4-lane roads.

Left turn going out, would it not mean right turn coming back? Or vice versa. It’s hard to get somewhere using the side streets only in TV.

Why UPS drivers don't turn left and you probably shouldn't either

I only object to left turns onto a busy 4-lane streets like Hillsborough, Pinellas, or Fenney Way.

When I leave Longleaf golf course, I would like to turn left, but sometimes Fenney Way is too busy. Then I turn right, turn left on Corbin (which is easy), go around the roundabout on 501, go up to Morse, and head home.

Fenny way is not 4 lanes, it's 2 lanes. I turn left onto Fenney every day and never have to wait for more than a few cars. It's also easy turning left onto Fenney from Corbin, I don't think I ever had to wait for more than 1 or 2 cars at that intersection.

I turn left on Pinellas just about every day, sometimes a couple of times a day. Occasionally I have to wait for a clusters of 3 or 4 cars but usually there is little time spent waiting.

When did Pinellas and Hillsborough become 4 lane?

Guess it depends on what you consider a lane? Two cars and two golf cart lanes? Some folks are just impatient so guess it matters to them.

I delivered Pizzas for a living in College for 3 years. Yes, left turns across major intersections are bad. However, the worst thing on earth are Stop lights. We would set up our deliveries to avoid as many stoplights as possible. Stop signs, you stop and go. Stop lights you have to wait, and waiting is what slows you down. It was a great job.

BTW- who cares when you are retired - what is your hurry anyway?
And I don't get the whole idea - when I hit Hillborough, sometimes I am going right, and sometimes left - Right to Brownwood or the Ace Hardware in Wildwood - left to Rohan, Manatee, or Lady Lake. So you have to make left hand turns - no way to avoid it really.
