Default OH...you are sooooo gonna love it here.

I think you will be sorry once you get here that you aren't staying HERE for several days.

There is something special going on ALL the time. Go to one of the rec centers and pick up a free copy of recreation news. Go on a trolley ride. Dance at the squares. TALK TO PEOPLE and ask THEM why they like it here.

Welcome and enjoy. Be sure to drink a lot of fluids. It is hot this time of year.

We did that too!!! Both times we come down we have stayed at a time share and then drive back and forth EVERY day to The Villages because it's more fun then Disney World!!!! We have a time share booked for our December trip, but have decided to say at TV instead and save time!

We just drove around and checked everything out! Rented a cart for a day and had a blast!!!

Yes, definitely stop at the Sales Office in Sumpter Landing and schedule a Trolly Ride...THE very best over view of this big, beautiful place! Don't forget the Squares' entertainment in the evenings. And don't be afraid of having a guided tour by one of the Sales personnel...they are very low key and do give you a good view that you won't get just from your car window. We visited TV three years before we bought and NEVER felt pressured by our great sales rep.

Default Another Vote for The Trolley

Another vote for the trolley ride that starts at the TV sales office in Lake Sumter Landing. It only take about 45 minutes I believe. TV is quite spread out geographically, so the trolley doesn't cover all of TV, but it gives you a taste of the beauty of TV.

July 9th - 10th - Craft Show - Lake Sumter Landing
July 16th - Christmas in July Cruise In - Spanish Springs

The craft show in Lake Sumter is alway fantastic. Tons of one of a kind items for sale.

I see where you won't be here for the "Cruise In" on the 16th (antique car show).
They are always the 3rd Saturday of the month and start around 4:30 P.M. until around 7:30 P.M.
So it you happen to schedule another trip you might want to schedule it around the 3rd Saturday of any month.
