They do have garages. Depends on which unit you rent.

How did they get out of their leases?

You can get out of the lease if you buy in TV from a Villages realtor.

Thats because once again, people are just talking and not stating facts. No one has already moved out unless they want to pay a fortune to break the lease.

The facts you say? We toured the Lofts and you can break the lease if you buy in TV from TV. Sounds like you need to follow your own advice.

Not so. Assisted living includes 3 meals. I looked at 10 different ones for my mom and all included 3 meals and housekeeping. You may be thinking if independent living facilities.

Ran into a few of the residents when we toured The Lofts. They were very happy there. Liked the location and having no burden of taking care of a house.

I visited someone who just moved in. The apartment was small, somewhat dark, down a long hall, and had a patio that overlooked a parking lot. She is happy to not have the hassles of a home and that she can walk everywhere. I expected to see more touches of luxury - the decor is fairly pedestrian and the recreation center is small. Most of her building was not occupied yet. I think the concept will find many takers.

There is Independent living apartments in assisted living complexes. We have friend that sold their home on Palmer and moved in to the independent living apartment at a assisted living facility in TV. Now they are looking at the lofts.

Thank you for correcting the misinformation. I had toured and researched several facilities in the area. In Assisted Living, meals are included and you can't 'opt out' of the meal plan even if you tried. They want to make sure people eat. LOL
In Independent Living, meal plans vary from 1 to 3 per day, but even there, it was difficult if not impossible to opt out. My parents were fussy eaters and wanted to save a little money but the meals credit was actually quite low, so wouldn't save much.
In the ALF, free transportation and weekly housekeeping was included. Laundry and/or linen services were an added cost option. My father was completely non-compliant. He refused to take his meds and refused to go to the beautiful dining room and eat their food. He lived on the soups, puddings, ice cream and snacks that I bought and delivered weekly. I really don't know how the staff put up with him. They had a LOT of patience. LOL
I had also learned that any facilities on TV property were always more expensive than than the ones outside of TV, but that's no surprise.

Good to know. Personally, I couldn't live anywhere w/o garage or at least a carport. Apartment living is probably not for me.
I was thinking that as expensive as these apartments are, for just a little more one could get an independent living apartment with meals, housekeeping, transportation, and emergency alert pendants. If someone falls at The Lofts, who is going to come running to help?

No different than if I fall at my Villages house. Nobody comes running to help.
Apples and oranges?

Did anyone who actually lives there post?

Maybe they can sub lease.
