What is a zero gravity??

Buy a map of The Villages and all the pools are shown what type they are. Don’t know if they are up to date with all the new builds yet.

YES...it is a FAMILY POOL...

Northerner52 11-12-2020 06:25 AM

I don't care for the family pools. They are too shallow for adults. A pool for adults should be deeper. What would be better is a separate pool for the kiddies next to the adult pool.

The rec department gave me a message saying it is closed to the public, and due to the governors order #20-91, all rec centers, courts, pools, and outside facilities are closed.

So... that's obviously incorrect. Does anyone know if the Lofts pool is a family pool, or who else should I try to call to find out?

My friends think it's a family pool because the renters of the Lofts would want to have their grandchildren there. But I would like to know for sure before disappointing a four- and one-year-old.

The Fenney pool at the center is a family pool

from BV go all the way to 44, turn left to Morse Blvd, turn right go about 5 miles to Fenney entrance on the left

Can someone tell me how to get from BV & 466A to the Fenney pool?

If you have a smart phone, download The Villages app. It has a “Destinations” selection that will show exact directions to anywhere in TV by auto or golf cart.

Take 466 to 301 and go south. Go past the turnpike until you reach Warm Springs (468) and then go left. 301 does a slight bend to the right so don't miss your turn. Entrance to Fenney on the right. Also Google Maps works just fine.

My understanding is you must be a resident of the Lofts to use that pool.

Maybe if they don’t like the people around they can turn off the gravity and they just float away? If not, could we consider having something like that installed at assorted places around the Bubble?
If that wasn’t what was meant, i too want to know what WAS meant. Thank you.

Yes it is. We asked during our tour of the lofts

Sunflower33 11-12-2020 08:33 AM

Head north on 466A turn right on Morse Blvd. Take that for about 5 to 6 miles and Fenny is on your left

Gmaf6 11-12-2020 08:44 AM

Yes, Villagers may use the grill....best to make a reservation and note that the area closes at dusk when the family pool does. They do, however, ask that you leave the grill and area the way you found it, cleaning up as with all the facilities.

Agree

I agree with the person who suggested there should be an adult pool and a child's pool next to it rather than having the two combined. If a child should, by accident, poop in a pool there are laws that govern what must be done next. When we owned a condo on the beach which had a pool if a child had an accident the pool had to be completely drained, cleaned up with strong cleaner and then refilled. I believe, but not positive this was also a Florida Heath Dept. mandate. It's one thing to correct the problem in a child's pool vs a large adult pool! There were attempts to control this exposure by setting age limits to use the pool, no child without a diaper would be allowed, etc, etc. but some parents would insist they wanted their child in the pool and bingo it had to be closed and drained. Just a thought.

Any Villager, and guests with ID, May use the pool.
