Default Look out TV here we come!

We should be arriving to our new to us home in TV tomorrow evening. We are excited, but it sure has been a journey to get to this point. We think our northern house is sold, and we have arranged to auction off most of the furniture and stuff left behind. We won't even go back for the auction or the closing on our old house.

We traveled about 610 miles today in two vehicles and have another 590 to go tomorrow. I'm driving an old convertible, try driving 10 hours in 50 plus year old automotive technology. Makes you appreciate new vehicles.

Dear wife's first priority will be furniture shopping and mine will be shopping for a golf cart. Other than that we will be taking it easy waiting for the moving van to arrive around May 1st.

Anyway, if you attend any of the cruise nights and happen to see a white 1965 Impala SS convertible stop by and say Hi!

We bought a lot of outdoor furniture .. 6 rocking chairs, 6 footstools, 3 side tables and a dinner table with 4 chairs. We went to all of the places that sold outdoor furniture (Coral Casuals, Leisure Living, Palm Casual) but in every case we found what we wanted at Perfect Porch.

After trying everywhere, we also bought our indoor wicker chairs at Perfect Porch.

Congrats

We are in the process of doing something similar, we furnished our house in TV by purchasing our furniture in Florida. We did well at Family Furniture in Leesburg.

We furnished the Lanai at Palm Casual.

If you are shopping for a new golf cart, I'd recommend Carts and Clubs in Ocala...a bit less expensive than the villages place.

Welcome home.

Sanibel, arrived Wednesday about 5 PM. Haven't had any internet till today. Surprisingly the old car made it with no problems. In 20 years I drove it approximately 5000 miles, 1200 of them in 2 days this week.

Lots to do, need to get drivers licenses and vehicle titles transferred. But we did get our library cards today.

Wash the love bugs off your cars as they will damage the paint and welcome to TV.
