Default Looking for a few fellow Hockey Fans !

Life long Ice Hockey Fan since age 7 , former Youth , High School and D-3 player all too many decades ago, College , NHL and Minor League Fan , former frustrated Buffalo Sabres Season Ticket Holder ;
is seeking just a few true fans of the game --- ideally a few gents who would like to gather in my home to watch a great matchup once a week -- usually on Wednesdays for " Wednesday Nite Rivalries " .
Much more important to be a fan of " The Game " than just
one particular team and love Hockey History and to share your love and knowledge of the game with others .

I have Direct-TV , 55 inch HD screen and" The Center Ice " Package . The action really heats up over the next few weeks as teams fight for Play-Off spots .

So if you might wish to participate and could find time to share a weekly game, please send me a PM with all necessary contact info including your email address .

Also I live in the Village of Dunedin off Hillsborough Drive .

Note : please anyone who wants to tell me to go post this in the " Talk of Sports" section please understand that there is very very little action there under Hockey . In fact if you check most of the Posts there are mine. So please allow my simple message to remain here without criticism or complaint . I would really appreciate it .Thank-you !

This is great, but I won't be living in The Villages full-time for three more years. When I get down here full-time, though, I will be VERY interested!

By the way, GO PREDATORS!

Hockey Guys ! We have a nice group of life long " Fans of The Game " shaping up and we even have a couple of " future members " who will become Villagers soon so I have now started a special " Prospects List " just like your favorite NHL Team . I`m gathering their contact info and will keep them updated as we get going .
So anyone who is interested in sharing some upcoming games , the Playoffs and lots of great " Hockey Talk " jump over the boards and drop me a PM !

Jim
Coming from Niagara Falls on the Cdn side, I remember when the Sabres joined the league. Was a strong Bruins fan at the time. Rick J is an old friend and his Pat LaLaLa Fontaine still rings vividly in my mind. Spending 18 years in Pittsburgh before moving down here changed me to waiving the Penguins Black and Gold. Paul

Jim, if you ever open up your group to 'other than gents' and those who don't have a favorite team, let me know.

Jim...i would be interested in joining your group, huge hockey fan from Cleveland. Ohio. my friend and i used to have partial ticket plan for the Sabres. not a fan of key bank arena , thought the aud was way better for watching the game. I live in Hillsborough and also have Centre Ice package.

Pmbinnj, yes there are a number of lady hockey fans as well.
That's ok if Jim only wants 'gents' to watch hockey with him. No worries Jim.
