Anyone know where locally to get real Gyros sliced off a rotating spit? The lunchmeat sliced Gyros is not cutting it.

It's all Greek to me. Great place up at Seaside Park NJ but not sure if they spit or not but they were good. I would taste the onions for a week. Takis Deli in Leesburg has Gyros on the menu. My preference is pork souvlaki.

Nope, not the real Gyro meat off the spit. They used the packaged pre-sliced stuff...

I asked the same thing I did get Publix (Colony) to stock Gyro kits in the Deli Dept. I am trying to get them to sell Gyro meat in bulk the more that ask may turn the corner
