Default Looking for an honest "Villages" weather report!

Upstate N.Y. is VERY HOT! Im not complaining now ,just making a statement.

So how hot is it in TV Do we have ya beat?

For all those anti-Florida people who say" I would never move to Florida, its too hot in the summer" go sit out in your driveway for 5 minutes. Gotcha LOL

Thanks wiw, You only have a couple of degrees on us and a little more humidity. I think I could handle that, no problem. ;D

It is 92 in the Cincinnati Ohio river valley and it feels like we are breathing water, it is so humid. We only have one fan on our porch here and two in TV.

Plus my buds are down there. I can't wait. Bring on the heat!

I agree with nitehawk. Upstate NY has great summer weather.

Here in the Villages it was real hot today but then it rained hard around 6:00. Everybody packed up from Lake Sumter. But it is really nice now.

In Northeast Arkansas we have been in the 90's with lots of humidity and that makes our heat index in the 100's. I am acclimated and ready for TV.

In Colorado it's mid 90's with between 4 and 14% humidity, you cant even sweat. But if you get hot just get to shade and you loose about 20 degrees. Plus it's around 60 at night with a light breeze perfect to sleep in. We finally got to 3" of rain this year yea!!

In northern CA it is 110, humidity around 20. Miserable. Florida can't be any hotter, can it?

I live in southern Oregon, in a valley, and today it was 101 degrees..... that's HOT, but there is very low humidity! Northern CA also has low humidity, as I recall from living in Napa for a year.

Having lived in Miami, Florida for over 40 years, I know it's not the temperature that is unbearable............ it's the humidity !! In Miami it was usually near 100% in the summer, monsoon season. When I visited the Ocala area in the summer, many years ago, the heat plus humidity was also debilitating!

I would also like to know how TVers who live there in the summer cope with the heat/humidity. :dontknow:

Drove thru Napa at 6 PM today - 106 degrees and 15% humidity. Unusually hot but not sweaty. However, still a lot of smoke from the fires all around.

This is the one I use. Looked at the other ones here and all are good.

Before we moved I compared the weather daily and during the Summer not much difference between Indianapolis and The Villages. The heat just starts earlier and runs later. Many of my friends back in Indiana during April and May wish that they had stayed here instead of going back North.

I live in The Villages full time and this is my second Summer and I don't regret it. I just got back from some time in Indy and was very bored and couldn't wait to get back to the active life.

Wait what am I doing sitting at this computer. Got to go have a tee time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Villages Florida
Small Dog Sez for current weather complete with local radar try:
http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/...st?query=32162

We lived on Long Island before coming to Florida so we were acquainted with heat and humidity but it takes several years to acclimate to the long hot sauna here in Florida
however this year I am increasingly able to function in the heat of the day
should I be concerned :dontknow:
