Default Buttonwood or bust?

We have made an offer on a CYV in Buttonwood, sight unseen.

It is a PreOwned and the pictures make it look perfect for us. Coming down next Sat to finalize it. I hope it is all that we imagine it is.

Maybe we will get to meet some new neighbors/ friends while we visit.

Someone tell me we did the right thing..

Thumbs up Buttonwood looks good to me

Best of luck to you! All the houses in Buttonwood that I've seen on line look good to me. Maybe I will go see a few Buttonwood houses in person next month when I'm in TV. Then again all the houses in TV look good to me.

Mark, that's the same way we bought our resale......though the sellers were gracefully willing to allow the deal to be contingent on our final approval once we got there a few days later to check it out in person and sign the contract. In our case, the pictures and descriptions panned out just fine!

Hope it all goes well for you!

please make sure that you have good photos of each of the appliances that are to be left in the villa...friends of ours bought from on-line publicity photos and when they arrived to do the walk-thru before closing they found that several of the appliances had been swapped out for lesser quality pieces!

they told their villages rep that it was really not a problem - as long as the appliances in the photos that they had were returned before closing OR that a suitable appliance allowance could be worked out and paid to them at closing - which was later that afternoon!

the villages sale rep was quite taken aback and could not believe that the appliances could be an issue to prevent closing! hah! guess he never dealt with buyers from jersey before!

end of story...they got just what they wanted - the seller was royally pi**ed - and each of the real estate reps had to kick in to make the appliance allowance a reality!

Imagine someone trying to do something so underhanded. Those sellers were really low lifes! And sure could drag around heavy objects too!

What really surprises me is that the villages rep would think that having lower quality appliances wouldn't be an issue...............I don't think the management would be very pleased with THAT attitude!

Our CYV is on Crestview St in Buttonwood.

What is so ironic is that I have a house in Crestview, FL that I am trying to sell. As soon as that happens, we can make the move to paradise!

It looks like our offer has been accepted. We are coming down this weekend for a walk thru and if all goes well, we have a new home!
