Lyft/Uber
Is Lyft/Uber readily available in TV? What are your experiences with them?

Uber
My friends used Uber from Buttonwood to the trailer park by the American Legion off Rolling Acres a few months ago. Price was $47.00. I believe the driver told them he was the only one available.

In other words, Uber/Lyft is not a viable option here. And there seem to be no good alternatives.

Try the Uber estimate site. Showed nothing available this morning. You can get it from Mco airport for around 80 dollars

You are saying the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I would expect a tough time to find any transportation. |

Only one available? Who knows it may or may not be true. He might just be making small talk-pumping for a big tip? Surely he would not say you could have gotten Charley he has a nicer car than mine and Uber shows he is now available.

Lyft is in this area, not many Uber drivers... North of RT 44 you should be able to get a lyft within 15 min. You can also schedule a ride in advance...

I have used Uber often to get to and from both Orlando airport and Tampa airport. Never had a problem. In fact, many drivers have signed on to both Uber and Lyft, since one service is popular in the eastern part of the country, and the other in the western sections of the US. I had one driver tell me he spent a lot of time driving people around the Lady Lake area, especially during festival season. I would imagine that holidays might be a little tough finding an immediate ride, but there are cars and drivers out there.
