Smalldog Asks does anyone know why some magnolia trees bloom like crazy and others have 1 or two blooms ...... are there so many different varieties in use here ...... and why are the magnolia trees here loosing so many leaves ........ it doesn't seem that it should be for lack of fertilizer and water or tender loving care

My magnolia tree is looking real puny. I think it got way tooooo cold this winter. I think it likes to be fertilized with a different kind than the Rapidgro I use on everything else. PH....something.
