Then why has voter turnout increased, just about every year?

Some of us work the elections or elsewhere. With covid making the rounds, a mail in choice is respectful to society.

I read A few republicans got arrested from the villages.

And let's make everyone do all their shopping on the first Tuesday after the first Monday, and lets shut down lots of locations to vote in person especially in minority communities while leaving them open in places like TV. And let's have voting on a weekday not a weekend. After all November was picked because people didn't work in November, they were farmers but now it is a workday.

Make it harder for the poor to vote, make it harder for POC to vote, make it harder for college students to vote, make it harder for those without cars to vote, make it harder for those who try to vote to find a place to do it quickly. Because if you do this, and only a few people who are legally allowed to vote leave the long line or just stay home, only a few per precinct, you just might have 11 thousand voters a state skip voting, just the right kind of people to skip voting so your guy wins.

There is no crisis in voting fraud, there is no evidence any election was stolen. There is evidence that lies are being deliberately spread about fraud that does not exist, and that the business that lies about it knows it is lying, admits in private that it is lying, admits in court that it is lying, and doesn't tell its customers to their face that it had been lying for years.

And because of these big lies, we have to register every two years.

Stated and summed up perfectly.

And yet, there will still be many of a certain demographic who are unable, refuse to, or just don't care, to see the common denominator(s)...and the long-term threat to our Democratic Republic.

Because while some eligible voters were disenfranchised by the changes, even more saw what was happening and came out to vote.

The changes to make it harder to vote backfired.

The legislatures came up with more changes.

In 2024 we'll see what effect those have.

What changes were made to make it harder?

Most municipalities expanded "early voting" by weeks, if not months...

Many stated they wished they hadn't voted early, since they wanted to change their vote when new info came out, closer to the election. Did early voting backfire?

Voter ID? Do you actually believe that POC cannot obtain an ID? Or don't have computer access? Like those morons in the video I posted earlier?

I believe that's called "the soft racism of lowered expectations"...

More people become eligible?

The percentage of registered voters who vote has also increased...

An unnecessary change to the vote by mail process.

I haven’t researched Florida voting roles but California as the result of a lawsuit just had to delete 1.2 million people from their voter roles. You can deduce what you may from that.

What I don't deduce from that is the voters were dead. What the lawsuit and the reporting clearly states is that these voters had not voted in some time. They might be dead or they might be sitting in Florida typing on ToTV.

This cleaned up the voter rolls, which should have been done without the lawsuit, but that is all.

According to the Governor of Florida that did not happen.

Have you heard that viruses are transmitted by close proximity, such as standing in line?

So you believe only those horrible Georgi folks would do this. No one in FL would think of such a thing.

We all know the answer to that. (we are not allowed to say it out loud)

Whitley 03-06-2023 08:47 AM

I always find t amusing when someone who is pale says the idea of showing ID is to make it harder for us POC to vote (ooops, now that is out). They speak as if we poc are children. Well sure, we of European ancestry have ID but you can not expect "them" to get one. Talk about racism.
