Yea, but how do you remember what sticker you used! On April 1st someone should go out and put put the same stickers on all the boxes. All I remember is ours is 4x4 (4th row across 4th row down). No idea what our actual number is although I did tattoo it on the bottom of my foot for when I die so the coroner can show it to family when he opens the drawer.

Stickers are easy to remember. It's quite distinct and reminds me of my home state...

But your tattoo idea has me thinking...

I don’t care, I go there to pick up mail not gawk at all the stickers or who not parking between the lines. See I don’t worry about stuff I have no control over.

Mailbox stickers were a good, quick activity for my 3 year old grandchild this past summer. How many Mickies can you find? How many flags? Do you see any animals?
That, combined with the golf cart ride to the postal station, and I filled 30-45 min of “down” time.

Default Mailbox

The best thing you can do to your mailbox is to make (print)
your name (paper) in bold lettering with your address (no city or zip) on it.
Make it as big as possible be still fit INSIDE your little mailbox door.
Tape that INSIDE your mailbox door and it would be a great help to your letter carrier in putting the correct letters in the correct box. Remember most of the letter carriers in
The Villages are contractors hired by the postal service to work just your Postal Station.
They are not US Postal Letter Carriers (Federal Employees) there is a big difference.
The person who delivers our mail (CG) does a great job. How she keeps up with all new houses every couple of weeks has to be hard.

The stickers are ugly and just trash the postal stations.

Do that many people not know how to read the numbers on their box? A sticker saves them one second maybe. Kindergarten.
