He needed a few Hi!s Too much booze maybe too early in the day? Chloe & Lulu to give him a few licks to wake up? I used to housesit and dogsit a Westie named Chuck aong with his mother Heather who would jump up in the bed I was in, stick his head under my side and try to roll me over. Chuck wanted his breakfast at 6:00 AM or so. I was housesitting/dogsitting for a retired LT. Commander from some US Naval ship who always got up around 5 AM. You never really needed a snooze alarm with Chuck.

I hope everyone has fun at 2BN's party.

Would love to attend

Do you have room for more

Bob

Will need directions as well

Thanks

Items eeded

I need two 6 foot tables, and about 16 folding chairs, so everyone has a place to sit, while eating.

If you have one, please let me know as I will make arrangements to pick-up these items, beforhand.

I would like to request that people park at the postal station, as I have arranged for a shuttle service to take to my house. There no way my neighbors would appreciate having 20 to 25 cars around there houses.

Your anticipated co-operation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

See you Saturday at 6 PM!!!

Party is all filled-up!!!!

Thank you so much Joe, it was a wonderful party. What a difference a year makes. Our first Memorial Day was probably spent doing nothing, and now we are celebrating with friends. I truly love this place and I am so happy Don convinced me to move. Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone and remember our brave and dedicated service men and women.

What a great time last night! Good food, fun people, great host. If I live another 50 years I will never run out if jokes! Thanks Joe!

Thanks to Joe for hosting a great TOTV party last night. Oh my, from the start we knew that this was a special evening when we parked at the mail station and were greeted by Larry, who graciously shuttled people to the party in his decorated car. You see, Joe is a fantastic host and thought of everything, from multiple seating areas, food and beverage stations, and welcoming each person at the door as they arrived at his beautiful home.
( Maybe you can hire him to plan your next party!)
With bountiful food assortments, joke telling, meeting new folks, sing a longs led by the multi talented Pam on keyboards.....everyone had a most enjoyable evening!

Trying to keep up with cast of characters. Does Larry have a TOTV name ?

graciegirl 05-25-2014 07:16 AM

Thanks for having us Joe, coming to your house is always like coming home: the host is so welcoming and thinks of everyone's comfort. The food and the folks were the best.

Warm smiles, warm hearts, not a whisper of negative talk and genuine, kind people. So grateful to know you, Joe.

Larry's TOTV screen name is "enjoyingthevillages".

He probably won't see this and only frequents this site, when necessary.

It doesn't make him a bad person. :D

Some pictures from Joe's party. Since I'm posting from my iPad, it seems I can only post one pic per post.

rhsgypsylady 05-26-2014 07:23 AM

Ditto to all the comments about Joe's party. Great host, great food, and great company. I too enjoyed putting faces with names on TOTV. Can't wait for the next party at whomever's house.

pooh 05-26-2014 07:33 AM

I have done in before last year but that was before we got the new pooch and we were not sure how he would be when left alone or minus one for a number of hours.
