I can tell you on our golf courses, a foursome of men don't care if it's womens or mens...we use them both and get on with the game. I've used women's single use restrooms before, and I've seen women use men's single use restrooms. I don't see the big deal about it.

If there is only one toilet in each, it makes no sense to wait for a designated bathroom when you have to go. I suspect there's only one in each.

Not all "women" are "ladies".

[QUOTE=retiredguy123;1721142]I agree, but I have not seen any unisex restrooms in The Villages.[/QUOTE

Amerikanos in Spanish Springs has two separate unisex bathrooms.

It has been a number of years, but I confess I have used the men"s bathroom in the past. Women just take longer, and often are caring for children's needs. Why wait for a single-stall bathroom when a room is unused?

For many of us as we age, urgent need takes on a whole new meaning.

Any port in a storm.

While we're at it, let's talk about a huge pet peeve of mine of why so many men refuse to lift the toilet seat (men's or women's restrooms)...before they take a leak?

It's easy to use the side of ones shoe to lift the lid before peeing, or even use toilet paper to reach down and lift it, so why do so many pigs...refuse to do so?

In fact, a lot of new toilet seats now have an extended portion where lifting the seat...is made even that much easier.

It's simply nasty to follow someone who is too lazy, or an insensitive pig, when you need to sit down...and look at a pi$$ covered toilet seat.

Do these guys pee all over their own toilet seats at home?

YUCK!!

Nope, mama taught me well.

Personally..................I hate to see guys go into the ladies facilities just for that reason. I'm not sure there are "a lot of pigs" out there, but it only takes one. And that one makes it gross for ladies.

What do you think a lady would have said if it was a man standing there and when she went for the ladies room he told her to wait because there’s a line? No matter what you want to claim, we all know the truth of it. I have no problem if we want to treat all lockable single public restrooms as unisex, I can live with it. But I do have a problem if we are expected to treat all such restrooms as usable by woman, but only those marked as Men as usable by men.

I believe in equality for women and men. Who ever is next in line goes into the bathroom.
