Do you actually put out pumpkins on Halloween? No? They how would they smash them?
Wild groups of young people partying in the streets?
Me thinks the only thing going wild is your imagination...

I live in a regular, nice suburban neighborhood. I do put out pumpkins on Halloween but I always bring them inside because I know they'll likely get smashed if I don't. We've had bored kids drive through the neighborhood messing with outdoor Christmas decorations during the middle of the night. It happens. Heck, it happened in the neighborhood I grew up in. It's nothing new.
As far as wild partying goes, I've gone downtown to barhop, myself, and I've been one of the wild and crazy "kids" enjoying a night on the town until the early morning hours. At some point, you stop doing that and prefer a little less rowdiness. The TV town squares are good for an older crowd.
It is nice to know that the middletown residents won't be paying the amenity fees and that the recreational centers, pools, golf courses and other amenities won't be overrun by a younger crowd. As I've said before, there are plenty of regular suburbs to choose from if that's the way that you want to live. TV is unique because it is retiree friendly and the focus should remain on providing a nice quality of life for 55+.
