Not pot stirring....just concerned about the house shaking and what type of damage it can possibly cause.

We haven't seen any cracked tiles as yet but will keep an eye out. Although up north my foundation did crack because of the clay shifting against it because of the 18 wheelers going up the road to the dairy farm every day for many years, so constant vibration did eventually work its way to major damage. Which resulted in flooding the basement. The crack in the wall was repairable. Good news is ill never have a flooded basement again!

Doubt it will have any effect in Mallory?

There are a good number of homes in Fenney that have been standing for just about 3 years including ours and to date I have no damage and have heard of none. There are also lots of homes and commercial buildings near the site that are still standing and have never heard of any damage to them. No concerns here.

We've been here a little over a year and I've felt a couple shakes. No damage in a year and we just had a very thorough inspection. Also my house is probably one of if not the closest to the prison. I hear muffled p.a. announcements around 9 p.m.

I like living near the prison, it will be a great place to hang out when the Zombie apocalypse occurs...

Hey you have your food trucks with frequent health violations.

If you want to build a new home in The Villages, this is where you build, the Quarry and the Prison have not stopped thousands of buyers moving down here and lots of those thousands moved down from villages north of 44. It doesn't matter how many negative posts there are from those who don't live here, the building and selling will continue, it now takes 9 months to buy a lot and build a home down here and that is why the prices are going through the roof. Supply and demand. There are no more violations at Edna's than at Cody's, or Demshire's.
