There was a proposal to build a trail for walking and biking that would depart from near the Miona Recreation Center. Does anyone know of any progress on this plan? I do see some stakes and flags in the green space leading from north of Miona Rec center toward Lake Sumter, does anyone know their purpose?

Hopefully said trail will not encroach on the Pelican executive golf course.
