Default Mitt Romney in TV yesterday

I saw a brief clip on the news this morning, indicating that Mitt Romney addressed a group of 1000 seniors outside of Orlando. The background looked like it could have been in The Villages. He was singing "America The Beautiful."

I am just wondering if Mitt made an appearance yesterday.

He was here. A news commentator referred to The Villages as a place where people drove around in golf carts and where the "ELDERLY" lived.

I am about to gather the girl's posse again to smack the snot outa that commentator.

Oh, You were talking about Mitt. He was here last night and Newt was here Sunday.

Mitt, Newt, Barack. Do any of you remember that we used to be thinking about voting for people like Bill and Bob and John?

Gracie,

I heard that "Ike" once stood on the grounds of LSL...except back then it was just one of many area cornfields. Only the 'senior' farmers were there to listen, and Ike wasn't talking about quantitative QE3 Fed easing.

Mitt has such a beautiful voice. If he doesn't get the nomination he could be a kaoroke jock.

I asked my 90 year old mother to call a friend on mine's mother as she knew her from the old neighborhhod as she was dying of cancer and down in the dumps. She called and then complained to me that she couldn't talk to her as she kept saying, "what"?.

She then asked how old she was. I replied, she is 78.

Mom said, "she's just a kid". It's all relative.

I guess "elderly" is nicer than "old" in this politically correct world.

Age is a number as long as one feels good.

My mother is 97 and her eyesight and hearing have been failing for some time. She cannot hear me across the dining room table. I raise my voice, and she starts crying, saying, "Well, you don't have to SCREAM at me !"

Go figure.......

It's a proven fact that people who say "what", can hear".

Same thing with my mom and when in a public place, I felt like I was broadcasting our conversations. I'm sure it will happen to me at some point in time.
