It was spectacular. Clear skies. Saw separation.

You can see launches from TV? Man, yet another reason why I'm counting down the days until I retire and the wife and I move to the house we bought there last year!

Just on the clear days from here to Cape Canaveral. There are some higher hills in the Villages that make very good vantage points.

I just step outside but there are usually some trees in the way. Some of the Southern Villages have ready access to high vantage points. That would be quite a drive for me.

I go to Chathem Rec center parking lot. Looking SE there are two visible red blinking lights. Just to the right of the right one where it goes up from that angle. Rec center on the high ground in the north. About 90 feet above sea level. Which is right around the corner from me. I like bringing the live site up on my iPad and listen to the count down.

I use to watch the launches from around the West Palm Beach area much further away. Last night was an exceptionally clear night and the orange glow was unmistakable.
