But some of them have some very problematic children and the next golf cart bridge is going to be over a major interstate highway. A bottle or rock thrown over a road with cars traveling in excess of 70 MPH will kill people.

This isn't like NYC where people throw bricks at cars off a bridge. She could have just as easily thrown herself in front of a car or train or pulled a fake gun on a cop.
It’s just not NYC it’s all over the country, you just don’t here about it. I agree should be fence to keep delinquents form killing someone. Yes it might prevent the rare suicide, i personally don’t want hit person in the road that jumped or have the person come through my windshield and kill me. Standards change, just like water towers ladders use to not have cage or padlock plate to prevent climbers.

I personally don't believe that quite a few TV'ers drink to excess and do stupid and impulsive things...with/while on their golf carts.

Oh wait.....

Another thing when I’m traveling and I see little Bastards on bridge, switch lanes under the bridge or slow done so I can switch lanes under the bridge. Stuff thrown off bridges had happen in every state i’ve Lived in, and being in the military I lived in quite few.

I wish that we were not always at the mercy of the badly behaved.

Until we are able to call a spade a spade, clearly identify the problem, i.e. the scientific method, gather facts on it and be able to talk about it in real words instead of euphemisms we will not be able to make society better.

That would certainly be in the fashion of Spanish Springs Square or closer to it. I am thinking more about avoiding the rain if they had a covered bridge.

Not only enclosure but how about making them wider, the one from SS to Orange Blossom and the one going into LSL is waaaaaay to narrow.

ABSOFREAKINGLUTELY!

The only hope is, that like the MMP's that generally get better the further south you go, 'Da Family' is slowly understanding that saving a few bucks on the amount of pavement/bridges/tunnels built...isn't worth it in the long run.

So here's hoping that 'they' continue to remember the lessons...they should have learned by now.

The bridge in Brownwood is competed so if you want to see the width go take a look.

The SS to Orange Blossom is definitely very narrow. Scary if it's your first couple of times driving over it, for sure. Hazardous, I'd guess, if you were trying to walk or ride your bike over it (which is allowed).

Perhaps - at the very least - an extra 3-foot-wide strip attached to the existing bridge, that is for pedestrians and bicycles only. And -that- would be fenced on the outer side.
