If our current POTUS was a true leader he would call Colin Kaepernick & other players, coaches & team owners to the WH for a frank discussion & listen to their issues & concerns. Instead he chooses to add fuel to the fire with his juvenile, bullyish tweets, and only widens the division that currently rocks our country. Sad.

a reasoned response, not driven by "mob think" - do you realize what you say. I have Kevlar if you need it.

I think it is more of an issue of manners and the old "time and place for everything".

It is like a person who has had a bad marriage disrupting a wedding.

Do you mean like using the term SOB has a time and place?

Sometimes it might be quite appropriate!
Maybe the protesters should go to Chicago to protest
daily killings that occur there!
It will never happen!
I grew up, and lived there for many years,
and sadly high murder rates have been an
accepted way of life there
for so many years!

Airforce 1965-71 im done with football for as long as this keeps up.

Fredster 09-28-2017 07:27 PM

No NFL for me Monday or tonight, and most likely
until the NFL players find another way to air their protests.

Edjkoz 09-28-2017 09:54 PM

Did not watch because of kneeling

Not watching. The players are privileged. If they don't respect the flag and the veterans, go to another country.

JSR22 09-29-2017 08:05 AM

Watched and will continue watching.

PennBF 09-29-2017 08:29 AM

Done

Have been dedicated to watching football but will no longer as long as the ones who died for us are continued to be dis honored! Lets all remember that Pro Football is a big business that pays players millions to run up and down a field of grass and see who can beat the one team up more than the other. If the business XXX announced they did not like the United States by dishonoring the flag we would be angry. There is no difference here.

Many NFL players are convicted felons.
