It's my understanding That Lake Miona Pool is closed because of a leak that need immediate repair. The pool was drained for the repairs to be completed and as long as it was empty, it was also going to be painted. This is a long term closure, not sure when it will re open.

Thank you for the info, Kahuna. I'll drive by today and see if there's an update posted at the pool.

Good news - sign on pool says it is reopening on Monday :-)
