More than a retirement community
Last nite was another "first" for us and our new life in TV. My wife and I went to TV High School football game. What an incredible experience (except TV team lost . If you have not hopped on your cart on a Friday nite to experience this, you should. The kids are wonderful... the cheerleaders are unbelievable (my wife said they are nationally ranked), the stadium and track would be the envy of many small colleges. There is an eating and picnic area that's great too. the game starts with TV motorcycle club circling the field... when the team runs onto the field the club revs their engines.... it's really cool. I sat there in the stands and took this all in and thought, "wow, the developer of TV has created so much more than a retirement community". Now, I don't know all the politics behind the Charter school and what role the Morses played in all of this but certainly, would it not be for them, I doubt that beautiful school and stadium would be there. Anyway, yall gotta see it... go support the team!

AND even better, I have heard that the schools have enviable academic statistics. It sure is a pretty campus!

rshoffer: Thanks for the post. Yes its been years since I've been at a HS game also. I get to attend 2-3 Notre Dame games a year but it is a hassle with all the people parking tailgating and all. I'll have to attend a game when we get down in two weeks or so. Thanks

There's an active - or so I'm told - "Buffalo Boosters" Club, who go en masse to Charter School events, and support the schools with fundraising activities, too. Like the Longest Golf Cart Parade Challenge event from three years ago!
