thank you for not putting your personal ad on the side of your building. You welcome people to Lake Sumter Landing and i give you all the credit in the world. We do not need to see you advertise your business.. Again thank you for making it look good. take care kar guy.

I doubt if they own the building but are probably leasing office space from the developer.

I'm trying to figure out why they still have that golf cart detour around the building site. All the exterior work appears to be done. The detour makes no sense at all.

When I was down there last week, it looked like it is going to be permanent. I think that is a good thing because there was too much traffic at that intersection between carts and the cars coming off the circle.

I too think it's permanent. The new golf cart left turn lane seems evidence of that. Much safer going around, making the turn at the light by Bravo's, and then the left using the golf cart lane to get to the Morse bridge.

It is my understanding that all offices at present will be Morgan Stanley- Smith Barney as since the merger they are now leagally Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC. However there has been talk of a rename to just Morgan Stanley SB LLC. but no word as yet. I could be totally wrong but that is the note I got in my statement from my broker.

Is it not true that the major player in the Morgan Stanley business in The Villages is a brother-in-law of Gary Morse. That whole family has Class with a Capital C and would never gunk up the beauty of The Villages with a big ad sign on their buildings.

mrfixit...

Close....the office manager is Jim Parr, husband of Jennifer Parr who is Gary's daughter. So, it's his son-in-law.

Regardless, it is a nice looking building and I also like the 'welcome to LSL' on the outside.

The golf cart re-route is permanent and a good idea for safety. A little bit out of the way but a good idea. They also put a permanent curb up on the opposite side of the Sweetbay exit to the back side of the Bank/commercial strip.

I'm not in TV, and was wondering if the new Morgan Stanley office includes Smith Barney? Any signage up yet? Thanks...

The new statements, letterhead and official documents for the joint-venture read:

Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC

The signage on the current office may not have changed but it certainly will when they move into the new location in a few months.

I drove by the new office this morning. There are two signs: one on the facade, another a hanging one similar to but bigger than your house sign.

Both read MorganStanley SmithBarney, spaced exactly that way, which is the corporate version.

Default Morgan Stanley

Well, Morgan Stanley is a class act. Always has been, always will be. I have been a customer for more than 30 years.
