As soon as you buy a house in TV get on their list for a spot in one of the two villages rv storage lots. They are locked and patrolled. It took us two years of off site storage to get a spot but we are very happy with it. You do have to pay for all 12 months -- even when your rv isn't there, but the rate is very reasonable.

We have used one of the Villages operated lots for over four years. We travel several times a year, sometimes for months at a time and are very satisfied with having a secure, paved, patrolled place that is actually cheaper than many of the unpaved unpatrolled lots in the area.

Highly recommend Secure Covered Storage, 5655 C Thomas Road, Wildwood, FL, 352-571-4118. They are off state route 44 behind Alliance Coach. They have free dump station and rinse, tire inflation 24 hour video recording. If you have your coach worked on by Alliance Coach, just leave your keys with Alliance and they will pick up your rig and return to your storage slot when work is done. Also some of the covered slots have 30 or 50 amp electric available. Another advantage to Secure Covered Storage is location. It is just minutes from the FL turnpike south and I-75 north bound. I-75 southbound you need to take route 44 about 4 miles west to hit the interchange. We stored our rig in a Villages lot for awhile but was inconvenient for us since we lived near Brownwood and the Villages lot was off Camino In the northern part of TV. BTW, the Villages lots do not have a dump station and no coverage. The FL sun is brutal on a paint job, and any exposed rubber. Check them out. Just a very satisfied customer.

You can park in front of home foo 72 hrs. Getting ready for trips. The Villages owns two storage yards that are fenced and secure, patrolled by community watch. One is on El Camino Real bear the village of Alhambra in the north end. The other is off of rolling acres road in Lady Lake section also in northern section of tv. I park my class A in Alhambra yard, about $43 per month comes with monthly amenities bill. Also in Oxford on Rt 301 The is covered and open storage but

covered is pricey about $169 per month.
Also check out The Villages RV club. TVRVC.org

We keep ours at The Villages, RV storage lot (fenced in, paved with 24hr access) - best price in the area. $43.00 plus $3.01 tax total $46.01 and the good part they just add it to your utility bill. We also take off for 3 months every summer. Price is so low and you may have to wait awhile for a slot or sometimes you get in the same day as you call like we did. Safe, protected area and price has not changed over past 5 yrs unlike other storage areas that keep going up. We have 36ft and there are many that look like 40 to 45ft so size should be a problem.

There are various places to store. Plan on one with cover as the Florida sun is stronger and will do more damage. There are a number of campsites, before moving here I used the Rolling Acres site that was mentioned there are sites off of Hwy 44 in the south as well. Plenty of places to see in an RV , but if you want to go north GA and beyond. You won’t regret bringing your RV to TV it makes a great life style.

Not absolutely true - One enterprising person bought an old manufactured home on the historic side and had a custome home built with an RV garage.

The Villages offers RV storage for residents on two sites. One is located on El Camino Real between Buenos Aires and Buena Vista, the other is off Rolling Acres Rd. behind The Villages Wood Workshop. Both facilities are quite large, fenced in and patrolled. Cost is average about $40.00 per month. There is a waiting list. The Villages allows for up to 72 hours to have your RV on your property for loading and unloading purposes only.

Default Campground and RV Storage

Recreation Plantation at 466 and Rolling Acres is a great place to live in your RV while looking for a home in TV. Also regarding storage, TV has two RV storage areas that I know of that are very competitively priced. They bill you monthly on your water etc. bill.

Cover All Storage on HWY 301. I have been storing my trailer there for 4 years . Secured fenced in area and they don't rip you off for the monthly rent . They have covered and open parking and they are very nice people. I think that if you take out your motor home for a week they prorate your rent charge . There number is 352-330-5920

We store our 38 ft. diesel pusher at the Alhambra storage site on El Camino Real, which is owned by The Villages (TV), its not covered, but paved, fenced, cameras and patrolled by
TV community watch. Costs us $43 per month. This is at the northern end of TV. TV has another storage site off of Rolling Acres Rd, in Lady Lake, same type open, paved etc. There is coverall off of US 301 in Oxford, that has covered and uncovered sites. A lot more expensive for covered, $169 per month. Check out TV RV club, lots of good info. web site is
