To buy in The Plantation at Leesburg instead because they get a LOT more house for the money with no bonds and low HOA and all the clubs and amenities that one could actually ever need with NO traffic and no city taxes on the property bill and nicer size lots that are not jammed on top of each other. If they must visit you in one of the Village Town Squares they can take a short drive in the car and do so for free. Best advice you'll ever give them.

Healthcare is a plus!

As with most people contemplating a relocation, re-establishing relationships with doctors/specialists, dentists, urgent care/emergency room and hospital can be daunting. The Villages area has an excellent network from which to build a medical team to support your needs. In addition, there are also over 9 health/dental/vision/hearing insurance companies that service the area ... plenty to choose from. :welcome:

I have a house in St. Catherine I will gladly rent them for the summer so they can experience TV for themselves. I think they will enjoy all there is available.

Well, what you tell them depends. Do you want them to move here or not?

frose 01-01-2022 10:31 AM

tell them all the things the real estate people don't.. Hidden fees, ridiculous restrictions, poor quality homes, no consideration for people and just general b/s.. horrible place to live can't wait to get out...lifestyle my ass.

Second - tell them it's an amazing place... just ignore all the "haters"
If they're from WI... tell them to sell the snowblower and roof rake. (yes, we had a roof rake).

Having a roof rake is no disgrace! Tell your friends to join the Wisconsin Club. They’ll find all they need to know without any of the naysayers telling them this place is too big. Always a joke to hear from folks that want the door closed after they arrive.

Be transparent

Tell them to go on the talk of the villages to see what they will expect to experience residing there and about living in a HOA facility like the Village and not be influenced about a lot of smoke and mirrors Rederick. Go there talk to a lot of residence and ask about renter.

It would be nice to close ALL US doors!
