I am afraid that whether its federal ,state or a CDD a politician by any other name is a politician.....and there is no end to what a politician will spend of other people's money. A dime here a dime there and pretty soon you are going to be talking about serious money and forget any budget stopgaps measures another $6500 fee because some CDD politician didn't like the first answer s/he got from these engineers. No justice no peace

I would gladly pay more for rest areas every 1/2 mile or so with bathrooms, a dog walk area, picnic tables, and maybe a little shack with a bar with all day happy hours.

I have read through the many posts on side striping and can not find answers to some questions: 1) Will the side striping be applled on the pavement (as opposed to the side curbing) 2) Is the striping slippery, both when wet and when dry?
I am a bicycle rider and feel the trails must serve everyone. The cost of the striping is not an issue to me but my safety is.

The stripping being discussed would be about the thickness of three sheets of paper. I doubt this would even be noticed in a cart, bike or walking. One of the drawbacks of the thermoplastic is when being replaced, it would need to be removed. One would not just put down another layer on top of the old.

However, thermoplastic will last much longer than paint and may be less expensive in the long term. This is what the district was commissioned to determine as the next step.

Perhaps we could join the MMPs' with the Interstate Highway System. I could drive my cart to Kalifornia, stopping at Denver to score some "grass".

I would like to add an additional lane for persons riding Segways, hoverboards, roller blades, and in-line skates!

Saw a motor scooter the other day coming out of a tunnel. Well, they do call it multi modal...be careful what you ask for. Let's see; go ka rt, horse and buggy, off road motorcycle, radio control cars, golf cart with boat trailer, four wheeler, motorized skate board. The options are endless.
