Nancy Lopez Legacy Golf Course flyover
Two weeks ago the three courses at Nancy Lopez Legacy were shut down on consecutive days in the afternoon, that allowed me the opportunity to do flyovers without disturbing any golfers. I've finally finished the editing late last night and the fruits of these efforts is below for your enjoyment.
Nancy Lopez Legacy In the video you can see the ongoing maintenance work to keep the course in great condition, I do hate when the aeration of the greens for about the first week afterwards. The weather changes since I scouted and test few the courses this past summer made the Torri Pines #6 tee shot a lot more interesting. The power lines stretch and sag more when heated up due to ambient temperature and higher current load making the height of the lines vary greatly, now in the cooler months with less air conditioning the lines are higher than expected and inspected during the summer. My spotter said I cleared the highest lines by about 30 feet but the wide angle lens of the drone camera made it look a lot closer than it actually was. That one goes back in the book for thing to look at again before the flight. I hope you enjoy the video and the music. Please subscribe to my YouTube channel. Executive Courses 1.
