WHERE are you located????????

Hemingway South (Havana CC area) which is North of 466A so not all houses North of 466A have natural gas as incorrectly stated above.

Does anyone know who in TV would be able to give me a list of neighborhoods that have existing natural gas lines? I have exhausted every normal Avenue.
1. I spoke to both gas utility providers. They can only search by an individual address.
2. I spoke with both a VLM agent and MLS realtor. They can only search current listings by key words like “gas”.
3. I contacted TV District office, they could not help.
4. I called the construction development office who referred me to the gas companies!

I completed a lifestyle preview visit, and hoping to move to TV. I know most of the new construction has connectivity to natural gas, but I’m looking at existing homes too. I’m just perplexed that no one WITH TV can help with this simple information. I mean they can tell which homes have a certain HVAC unit, or how old the roof is on a home, but they don’t know which neighborhoods they installed natural gas lines in??
If anyone has the name of a contact person with TV that might have this information, please advise.
TIA

Friends of ours are moving into their new home in St. Catherine's and they will have natural gas and electricity supplied by Leesburg.:coolsmiley:

in addition to the responses you have received, you can also drive thru any neighborhood and see if the gas meters are on the side of the homes, usually garage side. In my home i had gas capped off at range and ran a line to the lanai where the fitting comes up out of the concrete pad. At this point you can have installer of your bbq add a nipple and elbow so your line would become horizontal
good luck

Not true, there are a couple villages south of 44 that do not have gas, I believe Chitty Chatty is one of them.

Why not just tell whichever agent you are working with not to show you homes without gas?

gas meter

Traveling on Morse south from 466 the last gas that was available was in Largo. Everything after Bonita to 466a is electric according to our 1st sales agent.

Eighteen years ago we bought in Calumet Grove, Marion County portion of The Villages. We had the option of gas or electric and chose gas for all HVAC, cooking and clothes dryer. Your sales person should be able to tell you whether gas or electric appliances are in a resale home.

I think you may be getting your directions or road names mixed up. I'm north of 466A and definitely don't have gas in our home nor do my neighbors. Some may elsewhere nearby though.

Natural gas in the villages

My understanding is that natural gas was being put in all the neighborhoods until they got as far south as Bonita Neighborhood. After that, everything was electric. This is only what I heard. I live in Largo and we have Natural Gas (love it).
