Default Need a Lawn service that uses walk behind mowers

I would appreciate any recommendations for a lawn service company that uses walk behind mowers. The riding mowers have created paths in my lawn.

Good luck. Our service started that way, then eventually changing to riding when they lost workers. They just didn't have enough time to get all the yards done on the schedule using a push mower. I see less and less of this.

Not cost efficient for the cutting service. Can’t imagine anyone wanting to do the job in Florida summer heat. Good luck in your search.

Bowles Services 352-292-4272 has been doing ours and about 10 homes around us (push mower) for the lst 4-5 years. Not sure how far an area around TV they cover though. We are just north of 466A.

Good Luck. When I was in Grade School and HS I mowed lawns for money. Had one lady (1.5 acres) who wanted the lines like you see on a football field or baseball diamond. I bought tighter springs to hold down the flap behind the mower, so when I walked left to right vs right to left, it would create different shades. She wanted more of a contrast. For each row I would raise or lower the blades 1/4 to 1/2 an inch. It did look nice.

I’m surprised she didn’t insist that you dance a jig while your mowing, too.

I also ran a lawn mowing ???? and snow shoveling business in high school. A memorable FIRST business experience. Here no use for a snow blower.

I still remember a lady who used to give us a soda each time. I do the same now. I still remember the one with piles of dog poo and the one loaded with toads-great fun to clean either off a mower. Oh and the ones could you come back to get paid. I always am sure to pay on time.

We all have the option to do our own. In nine years we have had three or four different people mowing. They have a habit of vanishing. Current one is the most expensive and the worst.
He has not yet come in roughly 10 days. Heck if this one too has vanished I may once again be mowing my own lawn. Riding mowers? Does it make sense for these small lawns with no open stretches, I don't think so. Perhaps, they need to look the part.

I would ask your neighbors. The Villages is huge and these people doing this work tend to stay in one area rather than wasting gas and time running about
