I don't work for the villages. I am just me telling the truth.
Bad and good as we are, we people who post on this forum do NOT represent all of The Villages. I think typing alone at a computer can make people like me a little bolder than in real life and I am sure that is a little true of everyone.
I am finally at a loss for words. I wish that people who have been to Florida, even lived in Florida and who have never been to TV would come and see what some of us are talking about. Particularly Coney Island Girl and Senior Citizen. I am doing my stint in exile right now and I have to say that the shock of this other place is hard. Granted our home and yard are much bigger, we live in an area that has a good mix of ages and our family is close by. It is very good indeed. But................now I would have to start raving again. Living in The Villages is like being in the college of your choice with all of your best friends and with the wisdom and sense of humor that comes with age. OH and the campus is to die for. OH and you can afford it. I won't start. Please all of you wannabes come and see that I am telling the truth. You owe it to yourself. There are fewer years ahead than there are behind. Bring your dancin' shoes. |

Since the administrators are keenly interested in stopping this type of thing, I wonder if you would give us an example of how you have been "pushed around" in this short period of time. We want to stop it. I did notice that on one of your other two posts, you said that "grandchildren" should be banned from the town squares. Was it after that comment that somebody took issue with you. Or, was it your second post where you said, "the group on this site that is more dangerous are the back stabbers." I can't imagine why anybody would take issue with that. |

So why am I talking about it in this thread you might ask? Well, when I saw what GG said here about how people should hustle on down to TV because time is a wastin' and about how we should bring our dancin' shoes, well I thought this might be the perfect place to make this announcement. And then I got to thinking that this could hit the squares pretty big. And I wanted to make sure all you TOTVers are ready. So I went to You Tube and I found this video. There were lots of videos there about "The Hustle" but not any really good ones. This was the best I could do. But at least the instructions are kind of there for your refresher course. I am sorry the man in the video has no head. (And I am sorry that the curtain behind him is hideously ugly.) I don't know why the man has no head. I guess we will never know who he is. We can only guess. Hey! I wonder what these guys here on TOTV were doing back in the 70's. Maybe it's one of them. So here goes. Time to practice. "The Hustle" is back! Provocateurs?
With all the attention to WWII this weekend and the wonderfull reinactments at LSL I keep remembering the French word for troublemaker, Provocateur....
Do you think Senior Citizen, Alex and days2go might be just that? Provocateurs:shrug: |

Sorry about cutting off the head, but I wanted to remain incognito. :pepper2: And what's wrong with the "curtain"? My decorator picked those drapes and they accent my decor perfectly. Watch for the pictorial layout in next month's The Villages magazine. ` |

I just knew that had to be you, but I did not want to say anything in case you wanted to keep the secret until your debut at LSL. I can't wait for the spread in the magazine. This is so exciting. (But your curtain is still ugly.) Boomer |
