Post a link to the correct page if you think that link is a scam.

I’m not saying it’s a SCAM all one needs to do is type in minimal information such as ssa.gov then refine your search from there or ssa.gov/account then a person will need to login or establish account not everything is a SCAM!

Or you can walk into any SS office, and set up your online account, if you are unsure about creating an account with SS

You have to look under MESSAGES on the SSA site. The MESSAGES link is on top right under your name. There will be a message in there (mine was dated 11/26) with an attached PDF showing your new benefits. It won't just pop up on the SSA site.

I find it hard to believe that anyone that can post a comment on here, cannot figure out how to maneuver in a website to find the information that they are seeking. I did not use the link. I have a SS account on their website and easily found out what my SS benefit will be in the coming year. You do not need to be a rocket scientist or a brain surgeon to do it. OR, you can just wait until they send out the yearly benefit letter in the "snail mail."

This is NOT a scam. If you went to the my account site as I posted, you would go to your messages folder and see the message for you to read.

Why log in to see what your new amount will be? What you get is what you are going to get.

The link I originally posted brings you to the .gov site.
