John W, wasting your time and breath. The OP seems to think what has been in the newspaper is merely a suggestion of what the developer would like to do, but is convinced that the city, county, or state would never approve such things so they are merely pipe dreams and empty promises. The expectation seems to have been that someone here on TOTV would be privy to, and in position of, legal documents showing proof of approval for these plans. Or, just a TROLL with nothing better to do than stir the pot here.

Pipe dreams, at the end of the above newspaper article I posted, there is a small reference to Atwood Bungalows construction.

"Also: New home construction will begin soon at the nearby Atwood Bungalows at Brownwood in the Village of Collier, since the Wildwood commission approved the final plat at a recent meeting."

To show how fast things progress, a trip down to Atwood Bungalows would surprise those who haven't been there in a while. The villa wall around the community is up and you can see the roof top of dozens of CYV's already dried in, the place will be probably be done by the end of the year.

So you don't get more confused, Ft. Sumpter is in South Carolina, in Florida it's Sumter County we live in. My suggestion is to ask for your deposit back and go buy your home somewhere else or wait until 2020 when these improvements will be finished.

As I already suggested, call the county or state yourself.

Ditto. This is absolutely absurd, which I suspect is what the OP had in mind all along. I've never understood people always needing to be hand-fed information.

The state or county would not have given them permission to construct the Golf Cart Bridge in Brownwood which is the access to the 1st Bridge that will cross Rt.44. As I said earlier I am also a New York retiree and haven't seen the Builder start anything that doesn't or isn't approved period. Their not dumb people that just want to throw money away.

Geez, this might be the most ridiculous thread I've read yet on TOTV.

City of Wildwood official site shows bridge over turnpike as part of Phase III Master Plan around page 20.
