Does anyone know what is going in next to Cody’s in Brownwood? It is fenced off and looks like they are clearing the area.

It's also in the Daily Sun every few days. They are building new commercial/retail buildings this is the first of 3 that are planned.

Thank you....I guess we don’t know yet what’s planned for that space next to Cody’s...just that it’s being cleared. Great video!

Nothing has been announced except that they are building 4 (not 5 as I said in the video) in Brownwood to support future growth.

My guess is that they have merchants ready to move into these new building and that they may have some special space requirements. There isn't really much vacant commercial space in Brownwood and with the continued growth going on with The Lofts and south of SR44 more will be needed as the square grows.
