Steve-
I highly recommend Beverly Ball. She is very friendly, down to earth, honest and professional. She and her husband Jim are long time Villagers themselves. We met her at an open house in 2002, and liked her. She was then working for TV reality. We established a business relationship with her, and then bought a pre-owned CYV in 2004. She was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Good luck in your search.

We also used Barbara Ball when purchasing our Ranch home in Polo Ridge. Very professional and easy going . Very helpful to us.

If you happen to see a house you like listed with Prestige Properties give Jan Ennes a call. It is a discount reality office so other agents may not show their houses. She did closing on the house we bought--it was a FSBO and the sellers hired her to close only. We gave her our courtyard villa to sell. She put sign out on Weds and had a cash sale on Friday. It was a REALLY good offer too. She is a neat cheerful person.

I'm still a bit of time away from a purchase but I've talked to Beverly Ball and we have a good impression of her. I also contacted Lyle and when I wasn't purchasing immediately, he didn't have the time of day for me, so I am not considering him.

There are other threads on here regarding realtors if you do a search query.
good luck

Who does Beverly Ball work for? Anyone knows a way to contact her. What about Lyle from Remax? He's contacted us and I was planning to talk to him when we visit in May. I have been told that properties listed by Village Realty are more expensive. There is also something about properties not being listed in MLS. Any information provided will be appreciated. We want to explore new homes, resales, and FSBO.

I think you should make an appointment with a non Village Realitor and another with one with a Villages agent. That way you can see for yourself what the difference is. You may just find that perfect house listed with a Villages salesperson.

Beverly Ball is at http://www.beverlyball.com/. If you use a Villages realtor which you should also if you want to see all available properties, try Michele Halloy. She's a real pro.

Steve -- in the Villages, consider Debra Park -- cell 408-8800 -- well informed, hard working and no pressure -- for MLS properties in The Villages or near it, try Tom Hellor of Re-Max -- # 874 2167 -- and don't forget "by owner." Good Luck p.s. Lyle is well informed and does sell a lot of real estate.
