Publix is sort of surprising since there is one less than 2.5 miles away but that makes more sense than BK and Wendy's. In the end, I'll vote against BOTH B.K. and Wendy's. One
or the other, yes.

Wendy's and Burger King are next to each other on 441!

Love love love First Watch. Just wish we could get a Boston Market or Pollo Tropicale. And I’m all for a Dairy Queen too. We need shopping and restaurants in this area!! And thrilled with the proposed list. You go Wildwood!!

Capital One 360 or Ally Bank, both give the highest rates with minimum penalty’s for early withdrawal if need be.

Ally Bank was formally GMAC prior to the Great Recession.

Utilizing a CD ladder from Fidelity offers thee highest.

AmEx is paying 1.65%. Easy to transfer money.

Although this is not a post to be talking about earnings and interest, someone did change the topic. If you are not too concerned about safety Sunoco LP is paying nearly 13% dividends, re-investment of the dividends helps with the fluctuation that is based mostly on oil prices. Buy it when oil prices are low and the shares are selling in the mid $20 range.

So far no real restaurants-more fast for joints--

Nucky 06-15-2018 10:59 AM

I just gained seven Lbs. just reading this thread.

EDFNJ. What is the name of that Chicken Joint on St. George in Linden? Help a brother out! Thank's.

That's o.k. for most of us.

The poor, the downtrodden, the uneducated.

I am very disappointed with the lack of good restaurants scheduled for Trailwinds.

Chatbrat 06-15-2018 11:08 AM

Its ashamed lots of small NJ towns with populations of less than 10K, support real quality mom & pop dining establishments-- guess the demographics here, tell investors-what the mkt will bear--

a couple just moved into our neighborhood, and they said" its a shame that the Bonefish is the best restaurant in TV"--

I am from Nj and miss the Mom & Pops. Good Italian,Thai, Chinese, and Real Delis. I am amazed at how much better the restaurants in Ocala are compared to TV.

Hi,

We enjoy eating out, would you be willing to share the names of 2-3 of the restaurants in Ocala that you feel are much better compared to here in TV.

The Braised Onion is one of our Ocala favorites.

Thanks,

Don

Mesa de Notte, Craft Cuisine, Feta, Ayuttaya, Latina y Mas and Carmines. That will get you started. My favorite is Craft Cuisine.

Don't leave out Marks Steakhouse.

Not a big fan. I buy prime rib caps from Costco and I think they are better than the steak at Mark's.

That would be the one. I could take it or leave it but our three Growing Grocery Destroyers would have eaten at that hole in the wall every day if we allowed it. All their friends were out of their minds for that place to so I guess it must have been good. Gift Certificates were exchanged regularly as gifts.

I wonder why no real diners down here like home. I'm not crying I'm just talking. :cryin2: How about a little further towards Elizabiff for some Popeyes, risk your life to get some chicken at night. All in all, I'll take Publix for Chicken when the Weight Watchers Police isn't watching! :loco: Thank's Ed. You are 100% correct, a dump. I always wondered if they were selling anything else in there? Who knows.

Actually I ate there once but my wife swore she would divorce me if I did again .... so I went back 2 days later. Obviously she was bluffing because we had our 50th anniv 2 weeks ago.

Since coming here I discovered PDQ and I'm hooked.

Congratulations on the first 50. You must have been married young. That's unbelievably beautiful. The Big 50. We just made it to 21 years, bless my wife! Can't be easy. LOL.

Yea, pretty young. I (not she) needed a signed letter from my mother/father giving ME permission to get married (a marriage license) despite the fact we were both the same age at the time. I was 20. This was in Boston where she is from. She could have been 16 I had to be 21.

It's only a number. You sound 15 to 20 years younger when you type. :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

I would love to see a big new fitness club come in, like LA FITNESS. MVP is overcrowded, lacks equipment, and is way overpriced, begging for competition.

Wiotte 06-18-2018 07:02 PM

I would love to see a NASCAR sanctioned 1/4 mile oval track running Modifieds with a figure eight demo derby.
